Junior Scholar Research Funds

The energy of junior scholars is the driving force behind SEACoast’s program to build new fields. As such, support for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career researchers are key to our initiative. The Junior Scholar Research Fund awards small research grants to UCSC graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and assistant professors working on projects related to coastal interactions (broadly defined) and/or environmental transformations in Southeast Asia.
